Our New Blog, Thanksgiving & Mollie's Wedding

So its been a turbulent last month or so. Getting ready for Thanksgiving and Mollie's wedding has taken up a lot of time and energy, but well worth it. Everything turned out wonderful! A bit of sad news...John and I have decided to get a divorce. We still have the utmost respect for eachother and plan to raise Eliza together as much as possible.

On a lighter note, on November 15th, my mom's birthday, Philip proposed to his girlfriend Rhonda. We are so excited!! I met Rhonda when I was working at Central Utah Orthopedics. Her sister Christine was my co-worker. I ate lunch with Rhonda one day and knew that her and my brother would be a perfect fit! Rhonda has 2 kids, Kylie who is 18 and Cody who is 16. We love them so much and they fit in our family so well.

Thanksgiving was a pretty quiet day, but it was lovely. After dinner we went over to Rhonda's house for pie. It was such a great time! We love how much our family has grown so significantly in the last few months. Along with Rhonda and her kids we have gained her sister Christine's family. What a treat! All in all, it was a fantastic Thanksgiving!

After Thanksgiving the craziness did not stop. It actually got even more hectic! Mollie had her wedding dinner on Monday. Luckily Eliza was able to hang out with her dad that day while I rushed around taking care of last minute details. I made it to the dinner, only 15 minutes late. I was very proud of myself! The next day was THE DAY! Mollie got sealed at 11am in the Salt Lake Temple. It was a beautiful ceremony! I don't know what else to say. It was great...FANTASTIC! That night was her reception. We took pictures right before and let me tell you, it was FREEZING COLD! But, forgetting all of that, it was amazing! The reception was truly wonderful!

So that has been our crazy month! Its been full of activity, but I have loved every minute of it...well, mostly every minute of it. I have to be a bragging mommy and tell you guys about how cute she is. My parents' dog Phoebe loves to play with Eliza when she is laying on the floor. Eliza will grab Phoebe's fur and then Phoebe will bat at Eliza's hands and roll up next to her. It is so entertaining to watch! Eliza just smiles and cackles.

Hope all is well with everyone! I would love to hear from you all!

Take Care!
