OK! So Two More Cute Pictures...

I had to post these cute pictures. As I have said before, Eliza and my parents' dog Phoebe are the best of friends. Eliza could sit and play with Phoebe for hours. Phoebe has figured out that she can't play as hard as she can with grown ups, with Eliza. The two of them love to play by the back screen door. We put a baby gate up so Eliza can stand up. If we didn't have the gate up she would fall right through the flemsy screen. Anyways...Mollie got a few pictures of them standing up at the door on Sunday. So cute! Actually, Phoebe was barking to get outside because I was out there and she apparently thought it was all too proper to be outside as well but I didn't want to let her out yet. Eliza didn't like the barking so she was trying to get her to stop. Mollie also took a video of that. Its on her blog http://molliejane.blogspot.com. I don't know how to put videos on my blog nor do I know how to do that word/link thingy. So, maybe someone wants to tell me how to do that? Anyways, if you are interested in seeing my bossy baby, go to Mollie's blog and watch the video. There is also a video on there of Mollie and me rocking out to one of Celine Dion's ballads. Its a little bit obnoxious, but HEY! We had a good time ;)!

...oh and by the way, being the proud Mommy that I am, I WILL be posting more cute pictures very soon! I always have my camera ready these days.

Isagenix

So, I was introduced to Isagenix by my brother in law Carlos. He swears by this form of weight loss so I've decided to try it. Basically, its a 30 Day Cleanse. It gets all of the yuck out of your body so you feel good and energized. PLUS! You lose weight along the way. I'm excited! I start on Monday. Using Isagenix products I will have a shake for breakfast, take a vitamin to stimulate my metabolism, have a 400-600 calorie meal for lunch (I will be having a 600 calorie meal THANK YOU!) and then a shake for dinner. Once a week I do a cleanse which means I drink water and another kind of drink and I can have snacks throughout the day. This goes for 30 days. I'm hoping to shed 15-20 pounds. Cross your finger for me! My dad says he's leaving town. I get kinda ornery when I'm hungry, so I think the first couple of days I might be beastly, but I'm going to do my best. I will let you all know how its going.

Eliza Loves Reading!

Eliza loves looking at her books. Its so cute! She likes to look at the pictures and then she talks and it seems like she is pretending to read. I try and read with her everyday so it makes my heart happy to see her mimicking what we do. She's getting so big! My dad said today that Eliza sat for about 20 minutes this morning just looking at her books. So fun!

John & Eliza's Pictures

Mollie took John and Eliza's pictures the other day. It was so much fun! Eliza was so cooperative, I was such a proud mommy. Many of you have already seen these on Mollie's blog, but since she's my baby, I get to put them on mine too! Thanks for such awesome pictures Molls!

Eliza's New Carseat

I CANNOT believe Eliza is out of her little carseat. She is almost a year old (in 13 days) and its time for her to move into a new, bigger carseat. So, above is the one that John and I got her. I had never heard of the brand, Alpha Omega, but apparently it is made by Cosco and it is supposed to be the newest, safest, most cost efficient kind of seat. Its pink and brown and so it matches perfectly with her color scheme. I'm so excited! I can't wait till her birthday to start using it so tomorrow will be the first day Eliza gets to be in her brand new carseat! HOORAY!

Eliza Combs Her Hair & a Little Friend

Hello to Everyone! I told you all that I loved to blog. I just wanted to share a couple of fun pictures. Eliza has figured out what a comb is used for now. If I give her one to play with, she immediatly puts it up to comb her hair. I try not to give her one to play with anymore because it takes too long to do her hair in the morning to be having her mess it up a few minutes later. Case and point: The picture below.

One of the girls that used to work with my mom came over tonight with her cute little boy Carter. Eliza thought he was so interesting. It was kind of like she didn't know whether to treat him like Phoebe (our dog) or like one of her toys. I think she decided to go somewhere in between. We only had to tell her to "be soft" a couple of times. I didn't think that allowing my child to whack a friend's 6 month old child in the head was being a proper hostess. I think that Carter, overall, enjoyed playing with Eliza.

Eliza is in to EVERYTHING! She even got into my parents' "good dish" cabinent today and started pulling things out. YIKES! I ran to the rescue of the dishes. Eliza thought it was pretty funny when I screamed "NOOO!" Oh dear! I wonder if I will ever be able to effectivly discipline that child. Anyways...she gets into everything and stands up on anything. Today she was standing up on the vacuum cleaner and playing peek a boo with my mom. It was so cute! She seemed to be so proud of herself.

That's really all that is going on with us. I've been home most of the week working on scrapbooking. I feel like I've done so much, but unfortunalty, I've only gotten through Eliza's 4th month. Aiy! Yi! Yi! Why didn't I do this sooner?!

Have a good weekend!
